The Lake Eau Galle Association officially started in March of 2022 and opened up for memberships to help support our lake association. In year one of our existence, we were able to grow our association to 84 members. The membership committee started with a door-to-door approach in the township of Eau Galle visiting those local to the lake. We have continued to grow our efforts branching out to the local communities that also love and utilize Lake Eau Galle. In September of 2022 we held our first annual BBQ chicken membership picnic. This event was open to current members and the general public that were interested in learning more about our association. The attendance for our event was 60-65 members and non-members gaining 5 new members at this event.
We will be hosting our semi-annual membership meeting May 13th 2023 at the St. Henry Parish Hall from 4:30-7:00 PM. We will be focused on renewing memberships for 2023 for current members and once again we will be inviting the general public who would like to learn more about our association in efforts to growing our numbers as an association.
