Our fundraising committee has been in the process of looking into many different fundraising events that can help raise funds to support our Lake Eau Galle Association. We have been attending many other events that have been hosted by different associations and groups to raise funds for their cause. We are happy to announce one of our first big fundraising events will be an annual ice fishing tournament that will be held most likely in February of 2024. Members have had an opportunity to attend various ice fishing contests over the past year to learn what works best for other organizations. In addition, our committee had to wait until being in existence for one year in order to obtain our raffle license.
We are also considering a fund-raising event this Spring at the Rolling Greens Golf Course in Durand. If we are able to host this event, we hope to include golf, multiple raffles, games, food and fun for all that attend.
Our annual ice fishing tournament event is most likely to be held in February (beginning in 2024). Along with the fishing contest, we will have multiple different raffles, games and food to help spread the word of our Association. If you have any other great ideas, we are open to suggestions to help raise funds for the Lake Eau Galle Association. We will be approaching many of the local businesses to partner with our association to raise funds and prizes to have successful events.
